The Role of Ramadan Drama in Influencing the Jordanian Audience: Descriptive Survey Study

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the habits and patterns of the Jordanian public’s viewing of the Ramadan drama and to know the cognitive, behavioral and emotional impact on them. The descriptive approach was used in the study to describe the phenomenon. The questionnaire was made to find out the public’s views on the Ramadan drama. A week for two hours a day in the evening after breakfast.

It was also found that the vast majority of the study sample follow the Ruya channel and prefer Syrian dramas of a social character. They also prefer works that use the colloquial dialect in dialogue, and that the vast majority prefer to follow Ramadan drama with family members.

With moderate effects on the size of the cognitive and behavioral influence on them, the study sample agreed on the moderation of the characteristics of Ramadan drama in the manner of presentation and the suitability of the topics presented and their compatibility with the customs of society
