Abstract

It is noted that orientalists are interested in studying the Qur’anic recitations, unlike the modernists, because it is a topic that few people know and few Muslims specialize in studying. modernists reach their goal by raising doubts about the sanctity of the Qur’anic text, and its validity for every time and place.

so this research aims at investigating the suspicions of some Arab modernists from Qur'anic recitations and exploring the approach they applied in these recitations. They have been skeptical about the source of Qur'an and that it was definitely of divine origin. The paper reveals some of those modernists' misconceptions about Qur'an, and responds to them in an objective and impartial manner that seeks to show reality, and demonstrate that Qur'anic recitations represent a lot of evidence that Qur'an is an inimitable book, rich in its content and valid for all times.

This research confirms the necessity of studying this science, learning it and knowing its rules, because there is no difference between the recitations, and their multiplicity does not change the meanings or the consequent rulings
