Abstract
This study aimed to identify the evaluation of students at the University of Jordan towards the pros and cons of using the mathematics department for e-learning platforms in teaching calculus(3) in light of the Coronavirus crisis, and to separate the differences between responses according to the different variables of gender, academic level and cumulative average, A questionnaire consisting of (26) items was prepared and distributed electronically to a sample of students registered in the subject of calculus (3) through the platforms of e_learning, during the second and summer semesters of the academic year 2019/2020,The results of the study showed that the students ’evaluation towards the pros and cons of using the department Mathematics at the University of Jordan for e-learning platforms in teaching calculus (3) was moderate, and it also showed that there are no statistically significant differences between the responses of the students to the study questions according to the difference in demographic variables.
