Abstract
This study aims to identify the degree of possession of Arabic language students in public schools in the university district of soft skills over the period between the years 2022 and 2023, through the development of a questionnaire that was distributed to its teachers. The study followed the descriptive social survey method. The study population reached (152) male and female teachers, the questionnaire was distributed to all of them, but it did not retrieve (17) questionnaires, and thus the questionnaires that are subject to statistical analysis procedures amounted to (135) questionnaires. The study concluded that the degree of students' possession of soft skills was average, as well as the lack of statistical significance with regard to the variables (gender, experience).
The study recommends improving students' soft skills, and urging teachers to develop soft skills for students, as well as the need for educational organizations represented by the Ministry of Education to make some arrangements and measures in order to develop and develop soft skills, especially skills (technological and electronic learning), and also recommended the intensification of research related to its subject; with various other educational courses, as it was found that research is scarce in this field; Specifically in public schools in the university district.
