Abstract
The study aimed to identify the reality of the distance education experience in light of the COVID-19 pandemic from the point of view of female and male school principals in Jerash Directorate. To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher constructed a questionnaire consisting of 34 paragraphs distributed into four fields .The questionnaire was distributed by a sample consisting of 122 school principals chosen randomly. The researcher used the descriptive approach survey for being useful and fruitful for the purpose of the study.
The results of the study showed that the degree of application of distance is a medium degree, an absence of statistically significant differences according to the gender variable, a presence of statistically significant differences in the impact of the variable of the school stage in favor of the secondary stage and a presence of Statistically significant differences according to the variable of obtaining the ICDL certificate.
The researcher recommended the conducting intensive studies on the subject of distance education while addressing dimensions that covered by the current study.
