Abstract
The study aimed to identify the degree of high school students within the Green Line possessing social emotional learning competencies from their point of view. In addition to knowing the effect of variables (gender, school type) on students' estimates of that. The descriptive approach was used to achieve the purpose of the study, as the study sample consisted of (940) male and female students, who were selected in a simple random way from the study population of (19990) male and female students, and the questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection. The results of the study showed that the students’ estimates of the degree of their possession of social emotional learning competencies came within a large degree. School type. The study made several recommendations, including: working to guide secondary school teachers on the importance of activating social emotional learning competencies in learning, and focusing on including extracurricular activities for social emotional learning competencies.
