Abstract

This research studies Ibn Al-Faredh's poem “Al A'yniyyah "from a rhythmical ‎viewpoint. It emphasizes the significance and weight attached to vowels, sounds, ‎and consonants, pointing out the revelations transmitted to the reader through ‎these values.‎ The paper also intends to explore Ibn AlFaredh's longing to give his Hijazi past experience the immediacy of the pesent and a trition in the future.‎ In addition, this study discusses how the poet exploits the old Arabic pre-Islamic tradition to express his mystical vision
