Abstract

This paper adressed, for the first time, the topic of how the power of the Caliphs and Princes ‎influenced the theory of Criticism. It revealed that critics and Scholars of rhetoric’s laid down ‎the principals in their books according to the wishes and the whims of the rulers of Islamic and ‎Arabic society. ‎ Most poets in their praise poetry‏ ‏obyed the advices of the critics which were in fact the wishes ‎of the state itself
