This paper adressed, for the first time, the topic of how the power of the Caliphs and Princes influenced the theory of Criticism. It revealed that critics and Scholars of rhetoric’s laid down the principals in their books according to the wishes and the whims of the rulers of Islamic and Arabic society. Most poets in their praise poetry obyed the advices of the critics which were in fact the wishes of the state itself
