Abstract

This research deals with the denotations of fundamental terminology as it is used by the ‎fundamentalist theologians in the study of Sharia ' rules. The research looks into the areas of ‎differences and similarities in fundamental terminology from the point of view of expression ‎and meaning. It also investigates the causes of the differences and similarities in the various ‎fundamentalist schools. This reveals the great importance of studying fundamental ‎terminology in the light of the intellectual disagreement among the investigators of this field of ‎scholarship. This seems evident in the terms which have similar expressions but different ‎meanings
