Abstract
The present study aimed at surveying views of members of youth centers with regard to their effectiveness in promoting activities and actions. The sample of the study included (166) males and (175) females. All subjects are members in the centers for not less than one year. To fulfill the purpose of the study, an instrument consisting of (46) items was developed. It has been checked for validity by employing juries' judgment. On the other hand. Cronbach's alpha was used to check its reliability. An overall reliability of (0.93) was obtained. The findings of the study revealed that:a. 81% is the degree of efficiency of youth centers in Jordan. according to the sample of the study (males and females).b.The social arena is the best in terms of satisfaction achievement (84%), followed by the sports and scout arena (81%), and consequently the intellectual arena, and the artistic and entertainment arena (both achieving 79%).c.There were significant statistical differences in favor of females in terms of performances of the Youth centers, in general. In light of the findings, the study recommended that youth centers should be established in all populated areas, as their positive influence on the Jordanian youth's lives is satisfactory evident
