Abstract

This study aimed at measuring the degree ofthe efficiency of the academic and technologicalservices of al - Quds Open University academicportal from the viewpoint of the university students.For this purpose, a questionnaire was designedconsisting of four domains as follows: the role ofthe academic faculty member, the technologicalfacilities, the technical role of the university and therole of the student. The Study was conducted on asimple random sample consisting of (327) male andfemale students. The questionnaire which adopteda five - degree scale was distributed. Among theresults obtained, it was found out that there werestatistically significant differences at the level (a<0. 05) in the means of the degree of the efficiencyof the academic and technological services of al -Quds Open University academic portal from theviewpoint of its students attributed to the variables of(college, in favor of the college of Social and FamilyDevelopment, and place of residence, in favor ofvillages and camps) . The study recommendedrenewing the contracts of the part - time facultymembers who outstandingly and effectively usethe academic portal continuously to communicateand interact with their students. In addition, itrecommended rewarding, financially and morally,the coordinators of electronic courses who activatethe students’ use of the academic portal.
