Abstract
We have obtained a new generalization of two parameter Pranav distributions by weighting technique and formulated three parameter Pranav distribution. The statistical properties which are of prime importance have been derived for proposed model. Reliability measures of proposed model have also been obtained. Likelihood ratio statistic has been used for testing significance of weight parameter. Unknown parameters of proposed model are estimated by maximum likelihood method of estimation. For examining the suitability of proposed model in the real life, we fitted the proposed model and its related models to three real life data sets.
