Abstract

In this paper, we have derived explicit expressions and some recurrence relations for single and product moments of dual generalized order statistics from extended Erlang-truncated exponential distribution. These relations are used to discuss the special cases of dual generalized order statistics viz. order statistics and lower record values. Further, we have also characterized this distribution using conditional moments and recurrence relations for single moments of dual generalized order statistics.
