Abstract
In this paper, based on different types of ordered set sampling methods, the maximum likelihood (ML) method is used to find an estimate of the unknown parameters of the Gamma / Gompertz distribution. The results of the computer simulation show the efficiency of neoteric ranked set sampling (NRSS), ranked set sampling (RSS), median ranked set sampling (MRSS), and percentile ranked set sampling (PRSS) based on simple random sampling (SRS).
