Abstract
Power function distribution appears in several scientific fields such as physics, earth science, economics, social science and many others. The Power distribution is often used to study the electrical component reliability and as a subjective description of a population for which there is only limited sample data, and especially in cases where the relationship between variables is known but data is scarce (possibly because of the high cost of collection). In this paper, Bayesian analysis of the power distribution is studied using three types of double priors and three types of single priors. These priors are compared by using simulation technique.
