Abstract
Occupational mobility is a key characteristic of social mobility of a region. We can get an idea of intergenerational and intragenerational occupational mobility situation of a town. In this paper, we can get ideas of occupational mobility situation of Burdwan and Durgapur town of West Bengal, India through different occupational mobility measures based on survey data.
