Abstract

Sequential testing procedure is developed for shape parameter of power function distribution. Sequential Probability Ratio Test (SPRT) is developed for testing the hypothesis regarding the (shape) parameter of power function distribution. The robustness of SPRT is studied. The expressions for the operating characteristic (OC) and average sample number (ASN) functions are derived and the results presented through tables and graphs.
