Abstract

«Internet culture and its role in education and scientific research from the point of veiw of faculty members at the university« This study aimed at identifying the internet culture and its role in education and scientific research from the point of veiw of faculty members at University, According to the College, experience and the academic rank variables. The study society included)422( members of the teaching staff who works in the northern colleges of Al Balqa applied university while the study sample consisted of )110( members of the teaching staff who are selected randomly. A tool was developed to achieve the objectives of the study, which has been to ascertain the veracity of the tool. The results of the study showed that:

The point of veiw of faculty members at university are significantly positive towards Internet culture and its role in education.and scientific research. - The existence of statistical differences at the level of )0.05 = ɑ( in the situations of faculty members towards internet culture attributed to the experience, for the benefit of the highly experienced people. - The results showed no statistical differences at the level of )0.05 = ɑ( in the situation of the faculty members attributed to the college and academic rank variables According to the results of the study the researcher recommended to make another wider and larger researches to build a comprehensive vision for higher educational institutions in Jordan in the fields of internet & electronical teaching
