The journal was launched for the first time in 2002.
The "Association of Arab universities journal for education and psychology" is a regional journal aiming to increase the visibility of the educational and psychological issues of the Arab nations. Its main concern is education and psychology, covering all related practical subjects to these fields.
It encourages submission of scientific papers, case reports and review articles related to education and psychology.
Being a peer-reviewed publication, all manuscripts are subjects to a double blinded reviewing.
A minimum of three reviewers will analyze each manuscript, put their comments and send their recommendations on accepting or not the article.
Under the new guidelines of the editorial policy of favoring the publication of high-level research papers, decision was made in 2002 to appear four times a year, (end of March, first of July, end of September and the end of December).
The editorial committee ensures the rigorous application of selection criteria to ultimately retain articles of irreproachable scientific quality.
The journal provides immediate free access to its content, based on the premise that making research available to public, free of charge, promotes an increased global exchange of knowledge.
