Abstract

هدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن الاحتراق النفسي لدى عينة من معلمي المدارس في لبنان، وعلاقته بمجموعة من المتغيرات مثل جنس المعلمين، وأعمارهم، وحالتهم الاجتماعية، ومستواهم العلمي ورضاهم عن راتبهم الشهري، وعدد سنوات الخبرة، والمراحل الدراسية التي يدرسونها، وأخيراً نوع المدرسة التي يدرسون فيها، رسمية أو خاصة. واشتملت عينة الدراسة على (260) معلما ومعلمة، تراوحت أعمارهم بين 21 سنة وما فوق، توزعوا ما بين 70.4% من المعلمين في قطاع التعليم الرسمي، و 29.6% من المعلمين في قطاع التعليم الخاص. توصلت النتائج إلى ارتفاع درجات الاحتراق النفسي لدى معلمي القطاع الرسمي، مقارنة بمعلمي القطاع الخاص. كما أشارت النتائج إلى ارتفاع درجات الاحتراق النفسي لدى المعلمات، مقارنة بالمعلمين الذكور. أيضاً كشفت النتائج أن المعلمين غير الراضين عن مستوى دخلهم عرضة للاحتراق النفسي أكثر من المعلمين الراضين عن مستوى دخلهم. وأظهرت النتائج أن المعلمين المتزوجين أكثر عرضة للاحتراق النفسي من المعلمين العازبين. وأخيراً، أظهرت النتائج أن المعلمين الذين يدرسون في المرحلة الثانوية، هم أقل عرضة للاحتراق النفسي، من غيرهم من المعلمين الذين يدرسون في باقي المراحل الدراسية، ما تبين أنه كلما زادت سنوات الخبرة لدى المعلمين أصبحوا أكثر عرضة للاحتراق النفسي.

The aim of this study is to investigate burnout among a sample of school teachers. It also aims to study the relationship between burnout and some variables, such as gender of teachers, age, marital status, level of education, satisfaction of the salary, number of years of teaching, and the type of schools teachers teach in (private or official). The sample consisted of 260 Lebanese school teachers (males and females) aged between21years and above, who were distributed between official schools (70.4%) and private schools (29%). Results showed higher levels of burnout among official school teachers in comparison with private school teachers. Results also showed that female teachers suffer from higher levels of burnout in comparison with male teachers. On the other hand,teachers who were not satisfied with their salaries got higher levels of burnout in comparison with those who were satisfied with their salaries.Moreover,results showed that married teachers suffered from higher levels of burnout in comparison with single teachers.And results showed that teachers who teach high school classes got least levels of burnout.Finally, those who had large experience years of teaching got high levels of burnout too.
