Abstract

هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن أثر استخدام الشعر التعليمي بالتدريس في تحصيل طلبة الصف الأول الأساسي في مادة العلوم في الأردن. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (40) طالباً وطالبة من طلبة الصف الأول الأساسي في مدرسة الأبرار في محافظة المفرق في الفصل الدراسي الثاني للعام الدراسي2011/2012 موزعين على شعبتين: الأولى تجريبية مكونة من (19) تسعة عشر طالباً وطالبة درست وحدة المغناطيس عن طريق استخدام الشعر أثناء التدريس، والثانية: ضابطة مكونة من (21) طالباً وطالبة، درست الموضوع نفسه بالطريقة الاعتيادية. وبعد تدريس المجموعتين طبق الاختبار التحصيلي المعد للدراسة، ثم قام الباحثان بجمع البيانات وتطبيق المعالجة الإحصائية اللازمة، واستخراج النتائج وتحليلها.. أظهرت نتائج اختبار(ت) تفوق المجموعة التجريبية على المجموعة الضابطة بدلالة إحصائية، كما أظهرت النتائج عن طريق حساب مربع إيتا (η²) أن حجم التأثير لاستخدام الشعر في تدريس العلوم كان كبيراً. وأوصت الدراسة بتوصيات عدة، منها: دعوة معلمي ومعلمات العلوم لاستخدام الشعر في تدريس العلوم، ودعوة القائمين على تأليف كتب العلوم إلى توظيف الشعر التعليمي في محتوى كتب العلوم للصفوف الدنيا.

This study aimed at finding out the effect of using poetry in teaching science in the achievement of the first primary grade pupils in Jordan. The subjects of the study consisted of 40 male and female pupils from the 1^st grade from Mafraq/Jordan in the academic year 2010/2011. They were divided into two groups: experimental group which was taught using poetry during teaching, and the control group which learned in the traditional method. To achieve the objectives of the study, a valid and reliable achievement test was distributed on the two groups at the end of the treatment. The results showed statistically significant differences in the pupils' achievement in science due to the method of teaching, and in favor of the experimental group which learned by using poetry. Also the results showed by calculating (η2)that the effect size for the use of poetry during the teaching of science was great. The study recommended a number of recommendations, including: Call of science teachers to use poetry during the teaching of science, and invite those who design science textbooks for the employment of poetry in the content of these textbooks.
