Abstract

The aim of the study was to identify the status quo of improving the organizational climate in higher education institutions in the State of Kuwait based on the principles of transformational leadership from the point of view of faculty members.To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach.The study sample was selected according to the available sample method and it included (97) faculty members. The research relied on a questionnaire as a study tool consisting of (30) items distributed over five areas in order to measure the reality of improving the organizational climate in higher educational institutions in the State of Kuwait based on the principles of transformational leadership from the point of view of faculty members. Its validity and realibility were verified, and the study came out with a set of results, the most important of which was that the reality of improving the organizational climate in higher education institutions in the State of Kuwait based on the principles of transformational leadership from the point of view of faculty members is great.The results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the responses of the study sample to the reality of improving the organizational climate in higher education institutions in the State of Kuwait based on the principles of transformational leadership attributed to the variable of gender, scientific rank, college.Based on the results of the study, the most important recommendations were the need to facilitate communication and between faculty members by exchanging the necessary information to improve the organizational climate, and work to increase flexibility in administrative work by delegating powers to administrative and academic staff.
