Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of practicing leadership skills among Kuwait University students. The sample of the study consisted of (370) male and female students from all faculties at Kuwait University, and it was chosen using the random cluster sample method that represents the study population. A questionnaire was developed as a tool for collecting data, and its validity and consistency were confirmed by scientific methods. The results of the study indicated that the degree of practicing leadership skills among Kuwait University students from the point of view of the students themselves came to a medium degree for all its domains (basic administrative skills, emotional intelligence skills, change management skills, decision-making skills, and communication skills). The results also pointed that There were no statistically significant differences between the arithmetic average of the study sample's perceptions of the degree of practicing leadership skills among Kuwait University students, according to the variables of gender and type of faculty.
