Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the roles and qualities that Arab women have in the” Arabic language book for the third grade in Arab schools within Palestinian territories. The study population was the Arabic language book for the third grade, which is composed of two parts, with a sample size of 39 texts distributed between functional and literary texts. The researchers followed the content analysis method, which is one of the descriptive methods, where the descriptive method focuses on studying the phenomenon and describing it accurately, either qualitatively or quantitatively. Qualitative expression describes the phenomenon and clarifies its characteristics, while quantitative expression describes the phenomenon numerically and clarifies its size, extent, and its connection with other phenomena. To achieve the objectives of the study,the researchers prepared a questionnaire consisting of (114)statements divided into six axes: social roles, traits, external traits, professional roles, games, and rights.
