Abstract

This study which is titled (the concept of the village and its implications in the holy qur'an: a thematic interpretation) is based on the approach of thematic interpretation, through which the researcher shows the word “village” and its morphology in the Qur'an, whether in the Meccan or Medinan verses (surat), and then tackle the meaning of the “village” in terms of language and terminology in addition to the relationship between them. The researcher also extrapolates the common semantic meanings carried by this word between the Meccan and Medinan verses (surat) jointly or separately. This study concludes the most important findings of the researcher in the framework of objective Qur'anic study.
