Abstract

The current research seeks to highlight the role of symbolic capital, which is one of the most encouraging and motivating factors for the behavior of employees at worwplace. It results and the implications are clear in achieving the organization’s goals. It contributes to the creation of an organizational climate privileged over the development of the top career capital and take advantage of the energies and capabilities inherent in personnel. Therefore, by creating a mental image of a well-defined help them work with enthusiasm and love. Likewise, happiness and continue within the organization. Consequently, in this research will be to highlight the basics of this concept and how to take advantage of it to support different leadership styles, especially the enlightened leadership style, in order to achieve prosperity and progress of the business organizations. The enlightened leadership represents the possibility and the ability to develop a clearly defined of vision at organization. With proper planning and seriousness in the implementation and follow-up, in order to overcome the possible and expected to the limits of hope or dream up. The organization can come out of the same human and material factors of production payoff larger as the somewhat better simply. Because they see no seen by others. Thus it be able to motivate employees to achieve success. According to the above, the aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between symbolic capital and enlightened leadership in the education directorate of Musayyib spend, importance of research includes rare of studies that investigated the relationship between symbolic capital and enlightened leadership. Furthermore, there is a reality problem, which has a significant effect on Iraqi education sector. Based on the random sampling, 150 questionnaires were distributed to employees at the education directorate of Musayyib spend. Only 110 questionnaires were returned. Out of which 104 questionnaires were usable resulting into a response rate of 94%. The theoretical results show the knowledge gap related to identification the nature of the relationship between symbolic capital and enlightened leadership. Moreover, the practical results show the significant and positive of symbolic capital on enlightened leadership.
