Abstract
This study aims to identify the reality of applying E-management among the directors of Jordanian basic schools in Marka Province, in Amman, from the school teachers’ viewpoints. Also, it identifies the different responses of the sample members, which include the following variables (gender, scientific qualification, number of teaching- year experience, and number of ICT courses). To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey method was used, and a questionnaire was developed as a data collection instrument. This questionnaire comprised of (20) items, being distributed to four Dimensions, electronic planning, electronic implementation, electronic communication, and electronic control. After checking the validity and reliability of the instrument, it was applied to a random stratified sample of 300 male and female teachers. The study results indicated that the degree of applying E-Management was "average.” Besides, there were statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) due to the impact of the number of courses in all Dimensions and in the general description. These differences were for the benefit of teachers who had received more than two courses. There was a statistically significant difference in E-implementation for the interest of teachers from the Bachelor Degree holders and less. However, the results showed statistically significant differences in the reality of applying E-Management as a whole and in (communication, implementation, and censorships) domains. The differences followed the variable number of teaching- year experience to be for the benefit of teachers who experienced teaching for 10 years and more. In light of these results, the researcher suggests a set of recommendations including deploying the cultural E-management، develop annual plans for training programs.
