To that end, the study adopted the descriptive analytical approach, as the researchers has prepared an analysis tool that includes a list of analytical thinking skills. By statistical treatment of the data, the results of the study revealed the availability of analytical thinking skills in reading texts, with a frequency of (325) times, distributed over (23) sub-skills, where the skill of identifying traits and attributes ranked first with (122) recurrences, at high ratio, and the skill of classification was the least frequent, with (11) recurrence, at low ratio. The results also revealed the availability of analytical thinking skills in the reading text questions with (165) recurrences, distributed into (23) sub-skills, where forecasting skill ranked first with (37) recurrences, at high ratio. The classification skill ranked last with (11) recurrences, at low ratio.
