Abstract
The study aims at identifying the training needs necessary to teach the developed science curriculum for the basic stage in Jordanian schools from the point of view of female teachers. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical method was adopted. The study instrument included a questionnaire that measures the areas of training needs, consisting of (24) items. After verifying its validity and stability, and applying it to the study sample, which consisted of (115) female teachers in Rusaifa District / Jordan, who were randomly selected in the second semester of the year 2021/2022. Among the most prominent findings of the study, was the fact that the training needs of female teachers necessary to teach the developed science curriculum for the basic stage as a whole have obtained a high degree, with the total average of needs (3.94), which is a high rate. And there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between the average response of female teachers in Jordanian schools to their training needs for teaching the developed science curriculum due to the variable of academic qualification and years of experience. The study acknowledged the importance of providing the necessary requirements and equipment for teaching advanced science curricula and providing training programs for science teachers that focus on modern teaching skills to teach this curriculum and in all areas (planning, implementation, and Assessment).
