Abstract
The study aims to know the obstacles to the practice of administrative empowerment for the principals of public schools in the Rusaifa district from the point of view of their assistants. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey method was adopted. The study sample consisted of (93) male and female assistants. The questionnaire was used as a study tool after its validity and reliability were verified. The results of the study showed that the degree of obstacles to the practice of administrative empowerment for principals of public schools in Al- Rusaifa District from the point of view of their assistants was within the high level, and there were no statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) in the obstacles to the practice of administrative empowerment for school principals due to gender. The study recommended the need to enhance qualitative training for school principals, and to involve all experiences and educational institutions, to overcome these obstacles, provided that the training includes all fields.
