Abstract
The objective of the work is to focus on using Al Ijazah style in Andalusian poetry and that by analyzing such scripts from both technical and conceptual aspects, in order to show how Andalusians contributed to enriching this art in Arabic poetry. The first section of the paper includes the definition of Al Ijazah, its terms of use and how it was applied in both poetry and other scripts in the Arabic literature. Later, examples of using of Al Ijazah in Andalusian poetry are presented and analyzed. Finally, the paper presents examples of how Andalusians also applied Al Ijazah Style to oriental poetry.
