Abstract

The great companion Othman bin Affan, may God be pleased with him, is the third of the rightly guided Caliphs, whom the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, wished to adhere to their Sunnah. He obtained the testimony that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, told him. He has many developmental and diligent feats, including the issue of increasing the call to prayer on Friday, which was the focus of our research. I mentioned the incident of the call to prayer and the reasons that led to its creation, and explained the Companions ’consensus on it, and the fundamentalist considerations in it about the so-called analogy and the mursal interest.
