Abstract
This study aims to investigate the effect of using the conceptual maps strategy in middle school-students acquisition of the jurisprudential concepts and the development of reflective thinking. In order to achieve the objectives of this study، a test of acquiring the concepts of jurisprudence was conducted. The test included 30 paragraphs of the type of multiple choice، and a test of the reflective thinking skills included 25-paragraphs in the format of multiple choice. The sincerity and persistence of their indicators were calculated and they proved to be fine and adequate. The sample included 40 respondents’ students who have been selected in a random manner and divided into two study groups. Empirical group 1 included 20 students have been studied using the strategy of conceptual maps. Empirical group 2، the number of members was 20 students who have been studied using the traditional method. The results showed that there are statistically significant differences between the two study groups (empirical 1 and 2) related to the acquisition of jurisprudential concepts and the development of reflective thinking skills in favor of the empirical study group 1. In light of these results، the researcher recommended to employ strategy the conceptual maps strategy in the middle school-students and educating the school teachers of the conceptual maps strategy.
