Abstract
This study discusses the issue of the rule of the seizer of power from an Islamic perspective. It introduces evidence given by those who consider it legitimate and others who find it illegitimateand unacceptable in Islam. The issue is tackled with reference to Islam scriptures and the main principles of Islam. The researcher concludes that the rule of a seizer of power contradicts with Islamic legislations and principles
