Abstract
The aim of this study is to test the role played by the entrepreneurial orientation in the success of SME’s in the City of Skikda in Algeria. The sample consisted of (143) entrepreneur, where the questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection. To analyze data, we have used the descriptive statistics, the correlation coefficient, one-way ANOVA and T-test. The results of this study showed the existence of a statistically significant positive relationship between the entrepreneurial orientation and the success of SME, but it is low somehow. Furthermore, there were no statistically significant differences about the variable entrepreneurial orientation and its impact on the success of SME’s according to demographic variables. The results reveal that the government must take into account the variables of creativity and proactivness to improve and optimize the competitiveness and performance of the SME, and the coordination between the experts in entrepreneurship and decision-makers to overcome the problems faced the Algerian entrepreneur.
