Abstract
The present study aimed to identify the level of administrative empowerment and organizational excellence among academic leaders at TaifUniversity from the viewpoint of faculty members, and the correlation between the administrative empowerment and organizational excellence, and on the degree of contribution to the administrative empowerment in the prediction of excellence organizational,and obstacles to achieve empowerment and discrimination organization, and the these differing views, according to the different variables (sex, college, academic rank, years of experience).To achieve the objectives of the study were to build a questionnaire consisting of 78 items distributed on three axes; the first empowerment administrative consists of 27 spread over five domains (the delegation of authority, self-motivation, teamwork, personal development, creative behavior), and the second is organizational excellence and consists of (37) items distributed on five domains (leadership excellence organizational structureexcellence, organizational cultureexcellence, subordinatesexcellence, and marked strategy), and the third administrative obstacles toachieve empowerment and organizational excellence and includes 14 items. It has been confirmed validity and reliability. Applied to a sample survey of 331 faculty members. The study reached several conclusions, namely: that the degree of academic leaders administrative empowerment and organizational excellence came medium from the viewpoint of faculty members, and there is a link between all areas of administrative empowerment and all areas of organizational excellence, with the exception of the areas (marked by subordinates, and marked Strategy), and the degree of contribution administrative empowerment in the prediction of excellence organizational among faculty members at Taif University has reached (89.3%), and no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of faculty in their appreciation of the members of the degree of academic leaders of the areas of administrative empowerment due to the variable sex, in favor of the male category, there are no differences statistically significant due to the variables (college, academic rank, years of experience), and there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of faculty in their appreciation of the members of the degree of academic leaders of the areas of organizational excellence due to the variables (sex, college, academic rank, years of experience).
