Abstract
The study aimed to identify the degree of exposure of the taxi drivers in Irbid to the public security Radio, and to identify the effects that determine the extent of taxi drivers' reliance on itas a source for obtaining traffic information and study the effect of the different demographic variables on relying on public security Radio in obtaining traffic information.Two hundredof the taxi drivers in the city of Irbid, and the study reached a number of results, the most important of which: that all taxi drivers of the study depend on the Public Security Radio to obtain information on the problems and traffic issues in Jordan. There is a statistically significant positive correlation between the extent to which taxi drivers rely on Public Security Radio to obtain information on traffic problems and issues and their educational level.
