Abstract
This study aimed to reveal teachers’ view of Islamic Education teachers’ mastery level of the rules and pedagogy of recitation (Tiliwa) and in to nement (Tajweed). The study population comprised (820) secondary stage male and female teachers in 2ndZarqa Educational Directorate, Zarqa. The study sample comprehended (210) randomly-selected secondary stage teachers including (116) males and (94) females in the first semester of the scholastic year 2018/2019. In fulfillment of the study objectives, a 23-item questionnaire was developed. The study demonstrated that the mastery level of Islamic education teachers for recitation and in to nement rules and pedagogy, according to teachers, was mediocre and that there were no statistically attributable gender-specific or experience-bound variations in the teachers-perceived mastery level of Islamic teachers for recitation and in to nement rules and pedagogy.
