Abstract

The research discusses the hearing ability of the dead. The subject is presented in the Holy Quran as negation to the dead hearing the living. However, it is stated in the correct texts of Sunnah that the prophet Mohammad- peace be upon him - addressed the dead. Therefore, this research aims to clarify the apparent texts' conflict by presenting the sayings of the two sides. Showing afterwards that the dead cannot hear at all. Except for some certain cases
