Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this study is to identify the reality of public secondary school principals in Palestine practicing entrepreneurial leadership, from the point of view of the principals and teachers working with them, and its relationship to the variables of gender, academic qualification, and job. Method: To achieve the objectives of the study the descriptive survey method was used, and the study sample consisted of (332) individuals (79 principals and 252 teachers). To collect data, a questionnaire was developed as a tool for the study, it included (35) items divided into five dimensions: strategic vision, risk tolerance, creativity, proactiveness, and investing in opportunities, and its validity and reliability were confirmed. Results: The results of the study showed that the reality of public secondary school principals in Palestine’s practice of entrepreneurial leadership came with a high score on the overall score and on four dimensions of study, while it came at a moderate score on the risk tolerance dimension. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences attributed to the variables of gender and qualification. Scientific, and the presence of statistically significant differences attributed to the job variable and in favor of managers. Recommendations: The study came up with recommendations, the most important of which are the need for the Ministry of Education to adopt policies of decentralization in administrative work, delegate powers to school principals, and develop an educational administrative guide to activate school principals’ practice of entrepreneurial leadership in a systematic manner.
