Abstract
This study proposes to activate Islamic finance to confront the Corona pandemic and shed light on some experiences that Islamic finance has contributed to as solutions to try to combat the effects of this pandemic. This work comes to clarify the ideas and visions promoted by Islamic finance in a period of crisis , given the role it plays against the risks that threaten the world, the most important of which is the issue of social solidarity, and of course, in light of these variables, there may be different and varied methods of achieving solidarity in ways that are commensurate with the nature of contemporary financial systems . Because crises, if society jointly solves them, will contribute to overcoming them faster and with fewer losses. This study aims to prove the ability of Islamic finance to provide assistance to confront the Corona crisis, as well as to clarify the most effective social financing tools in the current period, in addition to reviewing examples of countries that are proactive in activating Islamic finance to support their citizens and customers against this crisis. As well as emphasizing the importance of Islamic economics and finance in the long run. This study was designed with the help of the descriptive and analytical method as it is the most appropriate to study this topic, and we investigate its use to create a solid database, through its ability to accurately diagnose and in-depth description of the facts and data collected, and from it to analyze and explain them objectively. The contents of this paper were also included and its contents were presented in four axes, and the introduction and introduction were made with Islamic finance and the Corona crisis, followed by an explanation of the tools of Islamic social finance that made a difference, then the presentation of the countries that relied on Islamic finance to raise their economy against this pandemic, and finally the importance of the economy And Islamic finance after this pandemic. This study concluded that Islamic finance has the potential to be part of the COVID-19 response through a set of financing tools that are well suited for each stage. The study concluded by presenting a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the development of Islamic financing institutions by using strategies for managing (zakat funds, endowment funds, Sukuk, participation ...).
