Abstract

مع النمو السکاني السريع يواجھ المصممون الحضريونتحديات ھائلة منھا استيعاب الحجم المتزايد من السکان في المناطق الحضريةمع النظر في الوقت نفسھ إلي التأثيرات البيئية والاجتماعية والاقتصاديةالمستقبلية. تعتبر "المدينة الذکية" ھي رؤية للتنمية الحضرية التي يمکن منخلالھا دمج العديد من تقنيات المعلومات والاتصالات لإدارة المدينة بما في ذلکنظم المعلومات، وأنظمة النقل، ومحطات الطاقة، وشبکات إمدادات المياه، ونظمإدارة النفايات، وغيرھا من الخدمات المجتمعية التي تقدمھا الإدارة المحلية.والھدف من إنشاء المدينة الذکية تحسين نوعية حياة المواطنين باستخدامالتکنولوجيا ومعالجة الاحتياجات البيئية والاجتماعية والثقافية والماديةللمجتمع. ويسعى خبراء التخطيط حالياً إلي استحدث طرق جديدة للمحاکاة فيVirtual Reality الوقت الحقيقي. ويعتبر والواقع الافتراضي ھو أداةمحتملة لمعالجة ھذه التحديات وھي تقنية حاسوبية تقوم علي محاکاة الواقعالفعلي والبيئة. ويعرض البحث مراجعة لقدرة الواقع الافتراضي على مواجھةالتحديات الحالية في إنشاء النماذج، وتصور المدن الذکية. ويمکن أن تساعدھذه الدراسة المخططين في المناطق الحضرية وأصحاب المصلحة والمجتمعاتالمحلية على فھم الأدوار وسياسات التخطيط في إنشاء مدينة ذکية لا سيما فيمراحل التصميم المبکر، واستھداف عمليات المحاکاة في الوقت الفعليومتطلبات التمثيل البصري للمدن الذکية.Abstract - With rapid population growth, urban designers face enormous challenges, including accommodating the growing size of the urban population while considering future environmental, social and economic impacts. Smart City is a vision for urban development through which many information and communication technologies can be integrated into city management, including information systems, transport systems, power plants, water supply systems, waste management systems, and other community services provided by the local administration. The aim of the Smart City is to improve the quality of life of citizens by using technology and addressing the environmental, social, cultural and material needs of the community. Planning experts are now trying to develop new ways to simulate in real time. Virtual Reality is a potential tool to address these challenges. It is a computer technology based on real-world simulation and environment. The current research presents a review of virtual reality capacity to meet the current challenges in modeling, and visualizing smart cities. This study can help urban planners, stakeholders and communities understand the roles and planning policies in creating a smart city, especially in early design stages, and target real-time simulations and smart city visualization requirements.
