Abstract
Cardboard industry in the packaging system is one of the pioneering industries that many depend on, so research and studies do not stop to develop this field in an attempt to find alternative solutions for recycled materials by reducing the paper consumption used to produce carton packs, appeared the technology of paper panels honeycombs. This technique relied on the hexagonal shape that resembles hives, in order to distribute pressures on the packaging in all directions. The experimental work demonstrated the ability of this type of carton to withstand high mechanical pressure compared to the corrugated cardboard. Also, the amount of paper consumed to produce the carton packaging system using the honey comb system is much less than the amount of paper used to produce the package in the corrugated cardboard system.
