Abstract
The kaaba's honorable Kiswah is characterized by its richness with the biblical, botanical and geometric decorations, which clearly represented in the curtain of the door of the Kaaba, Kurds, lamps and belt. The research problem is that these various decorations have been collected and documented in many studies and researches, but have not been employed, highlighted and utilized in the field of fashion design. This research aims to create new decorations inspired by the decorations of the Kaaba Kiswah and employ them in clothing garments worn on official and national occasions, thereby enhancing the identity of the Meccan woman. Six different clothing designs were designed using decorative units inspired by the decorations of the kaaba Kiswah. These designs were presented to a number of specialized arbitrators with a questionnaire to evaluate these designs from the aesthetic, functional and marketing aspects and enhance the identity of the Meccan woman. The results of the questionnaire were statistically analyzed to find relationships and correlations between axes and to determine the best designs that achieve the objective of the study. Aim of the research: This research aims to create new decorations inspired by the decorations of the Kaaba Kiswah and employ them in clothing garments worn on official and national occasions, thereby enhancing the identity of the Meccan woman. Experiments: Six different clothing designs were designed using decorative units inspired by the decorations of the kaaba Kiswah. These designs were presented to a number of specialized arbitrators with a questionnaire to evaluate these designs from the aesthetic, functional and marketing aspects and enhance the identity of the Meccan woman. Results and discussion: Analyzing the total evaluation of the axes, the results confirmed that the sixth design has the highest value of the arbitrators as a total evaluation in order to achieve the objective of the research in terms of the use of kaaba kiswah decoration in the fashion design that achieves and enhances the identity of the Meccan woman. The rating is (96.15%). Otherwise scored the fourth design the lowest rating of the six designs, with a rating of 89.27%.
