Abstract
Since most of the products around us have turned into interactive digital products, the interaction design has become the most applied design, which makes it the subject of continuous development and revision. The research problem is that there are no controls to regulate the practicing of the interactive design process activities according to teamwork principles. Teamwork principles are the context of the actual work during the practicing of the interaction design process. In addition, the lack of clarity of tasks required from the various disciplines involved during practicing the interactive design process activities. The research aims to emphasize the necessity of practicing the interactive design process activities through the principles of teamwork, and then regulating the role of different disciplines in the stages of the interaction design process. The importance of the research is since it lays down rules for the application of the interaction design process through the principles of teamwork, which facilitates the communication and work of different disciplines together to achieve the desired goals, and it codifies the role of different disciplines in the application of the interaction design program. The research uses the inferential analysis method to analyze information and reach the results. The concept of interaction design, different disciplines related to interaction design, basic activities of the interaction design process and key characteristics of the interactive design process activities were presented. Definitions of teamwork, group thinking, the most important characteristics of teamwork, its principles, and the tasks organized for its application were also presented. The results of the research were reached by affirming the necessity of practicing the interactive design process activities according to teamwork principles. This research defines and regulates the role of the different disciplines at each stage of the interaction design process. That leads the team to work together as a successful multidisciplinary team.
