Abstract
Tourism is one of the 2030 vision themes. Neum City will be attractive for tourists and promising. Industrial lighting units design is considered an important field in tourism which takes part in economic balance and achieve tourism development, through modern designs taken from heritage products and Popular legacies especially Jazan region. In addition to this, there are natural materials such as shura trees and pure technologies like laser and waterjet. These materials are spreading because of the nature of Jazan and industrial zone. The matter which take part in environmental sustainability for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study aims at using Jazan heritage in designing sustainable Industrial lighting units for Radisson Blu Neum hotels. Descriptive approach has been used for showing materials and technologies used previously. Analytical approach is used to benefit from the heritage products form. The study results in a lot of applications which support the importance of making use the shape features in Jazan heritage and some environmental materials and techniques. The matter which achieve sustainable designing modern unites. It recommends the study results on hotels and tourism resorts for Radisson BluNeum City. Results: - Spreading awareness and culture of Jizan heritage as a part of Saudi heritage and converting its ideas into developed and compatible products with the current era. - Designing creative sustainable industrial lighting units derived from the Jazan heritage. - Reviving the Jazan heritage, spreading its culture among tourists and visitors, and expanding it locally and internationally. - Opening new fields in designing lighting units that combine originality and modernization. - Achieving sustainability in the field of designing lighting units, maintaining natural resources and protecting the environment through using friendly materials and technologies. - Distinguishing heritage items and products in Jizan by simple colors, shapes and engineering elements. - Using friendly materials and un expensive, primitive and traditional techniques in Jazan heritage products.
