Abstract
In light of the crises, there is a great need to find innovative solutions and cheap local alternatives to provide products that help in responding to these crises, particularly during crises of spread of infection and epidemics, where industrial institutions tend to provide quick solutions to combat infection. Society only has to adopt these solutions immediately and adopt them without ascertaining their quality. Covid-19 pandemic to which the world has been exposed has demonstrated that innovation is the world's hope to address any challenges, as this crisis affected the whole world, which was described as a crisis that stopped the world, where transportation, import, stopped all sectors and people committed In their homes for fear of infection and feeling anxious about everything, which posed a great challenge for designers to innovate and create to provide quick implementation solutions in light of sudden crises. Indeed, all society members dealt with each other to overcome this crisis, where new products were created, and existing products developed to deal with the new societal change in light of this crisis. And given that this change is linked to a health crisis that has caused people to feel a danger and that they are in constant need of sterilization and avoid contact with things and preserve the social distance, etc., which caused fear and anxiety for all members of society,Which requires dealing with this anxiety seriously to relieve stress and anxiety among people, so providing solutions in the design of daily life products is an ideal option for dealing with these concerns in such crises,So that these emerging behaviors with the emergence of the crisis are implicitly available through products that are used mainly on a daily basis so that people do not feel at risk and also maintain their safety. As such crises occur to societies suddenly and designers have to search for the fastest solutions that can be implemented with available local resources, It is necessary to search for new ways to design products commensurate with those sudden changes,The transformational design was the most appropriate approach to deal with these changes,This is because the product design and development process is an iterative process subject to research and experience to reach the design goal, and thus transformational design can be included within the product design process to respond to the urgent needs that suddenly appear in society through future visions and Backcasting processes.
