Abstract
Folk clothing plays an important role as it indicates the natural progression of society from period to period, as it does not change suddenly with the end of each era, as each era introduces some modifications to the types of traditional costumes, without losing its character, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is characterized by multiple different styles and customs of clothing in Its shapes, methods of implementation, colors, style of decoration and embroidery, given the diversity of the Kingdom's regions in terms of geographical nature, social environment, customs and traditions, and these clothes are considered a fruit of Islamic civilization and an important part of the heritage that shows the history of each region and the heritage of the ancestors that must be preserved, and the method of implementation is considered a summary of the skill that It is created by the Bedouin with its own innate taste, It also conveys to us symbolic meanings hidden behind the motifs and embroidery of the human life and environment, as it is a mirror of his human existence, and some believe that modesty and modesty is the main reason, while some care about protection, and the benefit that clothes can give to the body That is, it represents a barrier between people and their environment, and protects them from harmful factors, while others view clothes in terms of decorative values, which are presented by merchants B and experiences, and the traditional costume is part of the Saudi Arabian national folklore, and it occupies a part of its cultural heritage, as it is the destination of Arab culture that has almost ended with progress and development, hence the idea of research, which is a contemporary artistic vision to implement the women's dress inspired by traditional costumes Saudi. Research Queries: What is the possibility of benefiting from the Saudi traditional costumes in developing modern designs for the women's dress? What is the extent of the implementation of various designs for women’s dress that are inspired by Saudi traditional fashion? How can the aesthetics of Saudi traditional costumes be highlighted through innovative designs for the women's dress? How to show the basic features of Saudi traditional fashion by implementing modern and innovative designs?Objectives: Reviving the Saudi heritage through innovative designs for the women's home dress. Executing new designs from the traditional Saudi costumes for the contemporary women's dress. Executing various forms of contemporary women's dress in which good control is achieved. Executing various forms of contemporary women's dress in which the aesthetic and functional aspect is achieved.Methodology:Descriptive and analytical approach: to describe and analyze the literature related to the problem and the theoretical framework of the research.Results: There are statistically significant differences between the evaluation of the designs executed for the women's dress inspired by the traditional Saudi costumes as a contemporary artistic vision in the possibility of achieving good control of the designs executed according to the opinions of specialists.
