Abstract
The study aims to take advantage of the aesthetic values of macramé stitches to enrich the aesthetic side and the functional side of the university girl's clothes. A form was made to identify the opinions of specialists towards the designs implemented by the specialists intended by the faculty members specializing in "clothes and fabric", another form for the consumers of the university students, and they were 70 students To get acquainted with their views on the designs implemented to ensure the achievement of the research objectives, and one of the most important findings of the study is the existence of statistical significant differences between the six designs implemented from the aesthetic and functional aspects according to the opinions of specialists as the best designs received the highest evaluations by specialists was the "first design" There are also statistically significant differences between designs by consumers, where the "second design" received the highest evaluations
